Court Dates, the Preschool Christmas Photo and UNSTOPPABLE Grace

On one ordinary Saturday morning I opened a letter from the court dealing with Star’s adoption – Star’s birth parents were asking for leave to appeal the making of an adoption order. It was a short letter, no details. Dates for them to lodge their reasons. Deadlines for the local authority to respond.

And for us, all we could do was wait.

Jesus, Adoption and the Passport Office

I recently applied for my daughter’s first passport. No big deal, millions of people have a passport.

However as an adopted child, it is a big deal because it raises issues of identity.

Who is she?

Who are her parents?

Where does she legally have a right to reside?
